Mid Autumn (Moon) Festival

Please join BCIC as we celebrate the Mid Autumn (Moon) Festival with traditional games and activities, as well as stories and songs for the younger CI students. Our Greencastle events are a wonderful way to learn more about Chinese culture and celebrations in a multi-generational learning setting.

**Parent or caregiver must accompany the K-6 grade students, no drop offs please. Damage to the facility has occurred in the past and we wish to maintain a good relationship with Greencastle.**

Greencastle of Barrington is an affordable senior living community in downtown Barrington, where many residents are from China and speak Mandarin. BCIC has partnered with Greencastle of Barrington since 2018 to offer mutually beneficial programs for CI students and families, as well as Greencastle residents.  Our Greencastle partnership also provides volunteer opportunities for older CI students throughout the year.

Greencastle is the large brown apartment building at 445 E Main Street in Barrington.  However, please use the back entrance of the building off Klingenburg Ln.  Parking is available on the street or in the North Metra lot.  The parking lot is reserved for residents.

We will have volunteers at the back door, as well as the right side of the building in the garden area to welcome you.
