Elementary School
Ride on the BCIC Homecoming Parade Float
In addition to your Bronco Pride, show your CI pride and ride on our float in the homecoming day parade.
Join BCIC at the BAL for Chinese Storytime
In the fall, come to Barrington Area Library for an exciting storytime and craft event.
Participate in the Character Bee
In the spring, compete against your classmates and see who is the last one standing in this Chinese spelling bee
Middle School
Get inducted into the NJHS
Maintain a B average in both Chinese and Social Studies and receive this award at the end of the school year.
Make cards for Greencastle residents
In the fall, help spread holiday cheer and make cards for the residents at Greencastle.
High School
Earn your “Seal of Biliteracy”
Requirements
Become a Chinese Tutor
Email BCIC your interest in becoming a Chinese Tutor. Please include your name and contact info (email/telephone), availability (seasonal, days, times), preferred tutoring location (library, park district, home/neighborhood), rate ($/half hour-hour) and Chinese GPA or grades.
